MQTT Easy - Privacy Policy

Published by Techdotrom Ltd. Last updated 11 October 2026.

MQTT Easy is an MQTT client for Android. This page explains what the app does with information. The short version: it collects nothing and sends nothing to us.

What the app does

MQTT Easy connects to the MQTT broker you enter, subscribes to the topics you choose, and shows the messages that broker sends. It can also publish messages that you type. The app talks only to the broker you tell it to use.

Information we collect

None. Techdotrom Ltd does not receive your broker details, your messages or any other information from the app. MQTT Easy has no accounts, no adverts, no analytics and no crash reporting.

Information stored on your phone

This information stays in the app's private storage on your phone. It is not included in Android's cloud backup. It is deleted when you delete the profile or uninstall the app.

Messages received from a broker are held in memory only while the app is open. They are not saved.

Network activity

Sharing

Nothing is shared unless you do it yourself. The Copy buttons put a topic or a value on your phone's clipboard, and you choose where to paste it.

Permissions

MQTT Easy uses the Internet permission only, which it needs to reach your broker. It does not ask for your location, contacts, camera or microphone. If you choose a CA certificate, Android's own file picker is used and the app can read only the file you pick.

Children

MQTT Easy is a technical tool and is not directed at children.

Payments

If you buy the app, the payment is handled by Google Play. We do not see or store your card details.

Responsible use

Only connect to brokers that you own or have permission to use.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
